Korta India, present in the Indian market since 2008, established a new production facility of 22,000 square feet in a prime location at Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore, in March 2010.

The company's aim to be close to all its customers as well as to its collaborators and the continuous will to increase production and improve services, were decisive facts for the establishment at the heart of the industrial and technological center of Bangalore.

KORTAGROUP WILL TAKE PART AT THE IMTEX 2011 EXHIBITION

Korta Group will be attending the IMTEX 2011, the 15th Indian Metal - Cutting Machine Tool Exhibition organized organized by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) and held from 20^th to 26^th January 2011 in the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore, India.

The IMTEX series is the largest exhibition of metal-cutting machine tools and manufacturing solutions in South and South-East Asia and will show the sector's wide range of innovations and technological improvements.

Korta Group will be present at Stall A 108b of the Spanish Official Pavilion, located in Hall 1B, and various representatives of Korta will be on site to attend you.

The attendance to the fair will permit Korta Group strengthen again its link with India, where it has had a productive plant since 2008.

KORTA TAKES PART IN GEMASOLAR PROJECT

The project called GEMASOLAR, of Torresol Energy company, is an innovative project in the sector of Renewable Energies. It is the first plant in the world to generate Concentrating Solar Power, applying the central tower and heliostat technology, with a molten-salt heat storage system. This technology allows the station to work between 7 and 15 hours without sunlight. This plant will have 17 MW of generating power, to provide electricity for 30000 inhabitants and reduce CO2 emissions by 30000 tons per year.

For this Project, Korta brought its know-how and experience, as a traditional worm-gear manufacturer, to make the worm gears of the heliostat, key elements in the efficient positioning of the panels.

KORTA HAS ORGANIZED AN ADEGITOP

The 3rd of june was held in Korta SA the Adegitop "The Internationalization Process in SMEs: Opportunities and Challenges." This was attended Ana Belén Juaristi (Engranajes Juaristi, S.L.), Mentxu Baldazo (Irizar, S.Coop.) Amaia Odriozola (Lagun-Artea Grupo Empresarial, S.L.), Xabier Goenaga (Sammic, S.L.), Javier Marquina (Sellex, S.A.) and Juan Mañero (Siliconas Silam, S.A.). The meeting was organized by Jaione Iñarraieraegi (Adegi), the Diretor of the Adegitop program. Andoitz Korta made the exposition.

The excellent level of the participants made the day a success. Korta would like to thank them. We hope to collaborate on future projects.
